To those that have replaced their cooling units
What did you do with the old core? I want to cut the old one up but no idea what the internal pressure is. How did you depressurize it ?

My Dometic cooling unit did indeed have a valved service port. As did the two Norcold units that I replaced for customers. Your mileage may vary.
