Toilet gasket not holding water. Need a temporary fix.

On the road and not anxious to get into any big jobs and will have a hard time finding a gasket right now. I would like to know if anyone knows of a temporary fix to help the situation. I have fou...

It could be calcium build up from hard water. Pour some viniger in the toilet and let it sit until it leaks out or over night or clean the flush ball and seal good with household toilet cleaner. Either will disolve the calcium buildup.
