Well, I fixed SEVEN fried Neutral to buss bar wires. "Pichon" had a long ground buss which I cut down on a cutoff wheel and mounted it using plastic standoffs. The copper wire was annealed to the point where a dozen back and forth flexes using the thumb snapped the pink-colored copper off right at the burned insulation. The trailer was an ARCTIC FOX. There was enough extra wire to strip, and direct connect. I leaded the wire ends with 30/70 solder. Thick coat. Even with that song and dance, I showed the couple how easy it is to disconnect and remove the cover and check set screw tightness. They will do it. This frightened the hell out of them both.
In that box of FIVE BREAKERS
The single solitary ONLY connections that were found tight were the copper wires to individual breaker wires.
ALL MEANING EVERY ONE of the set screw wires were found to be just short of finger tight.
I guess I got a little upset yesterday. Spent most of the night with an irregular heartbeat which makes sleep impossible. I took an Amiodarone tablet which is an evil miracle drug. Guess I have to cool it with my temper.
