Repeated checking isn't because things keep loosening up frequently.
Repeated checks are to insure unused circuits that get used do not surprise a person.
Usually thorough use of all neutral circuits and two or three checks is plenty. After which things will *tend* to stay tight.
But this check is FAR EASIER than checking tire pressure.
