Unknown electrical component.
Can anyone tell me what this is: It is on the frame, and I know it's related to the 12v system, but is it just a connector, or does it have some other purpose?

Can not see enought to be sure but it from the photo I think the O/P's suggestion is correct,,, Just a junction block, nothing more.
Diodes I do not see. But they might be hidden.
