You're doing fine.

On-line bulling? Not sure if I would say that. If anybody posts a problem with 12V circuits mostly I try to help. The wiring has to be in some pretty flammable stuff to start a fire before the wire burns to open. Some people can feel 12V, and can get a burn, but 120 can kill. I can't understand how anybody can do high voltage work without knowing something about the work habits, skill and tool set available to the eyes and hands you are using.
This thread may not apply, but often I see what I think are real simple electrical questions asked. I wonder if because the person know so little, must ask the question, if "Put down the tools" would not be the best answer?
Yeah I totally WANT to be called out if I'm doing something absolutely idiotic! But I don't think that's the case here. At worst I was going to put a 50A outlet on a 30A breaker (and would have absolutely put a label on the outlet that says as much!). But it's not like I'm trying to use duck tape and super glue to gang a bunch of 15A circuits together or anything...
anyway, cautionary posts are appreciated -- when they have explanation behind them. :) If it's just to tout their own superiority (or just flat out trolling), yeah, I'd rather they just move along..
