V-10, She cranks good, but she's a No Start
2001 V-10 cranks good but no start. That's the intermittent problem a friend is having. The next morning it usually starts.....runs normal. Could a bad fuel pump act like that ? Or are we talking a b...

If you value your friendship, that's the point right there where I'd be picking up my tools and closing the hood and calling it quits.
After you get it running, and maybe a year from now something else breaks down your friend will think it was because you used starting fluid.
Protect your friendship. Not worth losing friends over a mechanical issue.
