- pnicholsExplorer IIChris ... you're right ... I missed it when I earlier scanned the Full River list of products. That does appear to be the same as the Rolls-Surrette model I linked to.
I can't figure our what group size it's trying to be. I believe it's a bit larger than Group 31. But probably a lot of RV battery compartments that will hold a single or two Group 31's just might also hold one or two of these. Two of them for total of 290 amp hours sure would be a great battery bank for smaller RVs.
What I most like about it (besides the long R-S warranty) is it's recommended float voltage of 13.6-13.8 volts, so one wouldn't absolutely have to get rid of their single stage converter in order to use it without ruining it - if the longer charge times or partial charging could be tolerated per one's camping style.
We hit and run camp a lot, so the alternator brings our AGM batteries (with the same float range) up to 100% between many camping spots. Then when we get back home, we just float with the converter month after month to keep them at 100% SOC. - mena661ExplorerFullriver batteries don't have 10 year warranties. That must be a Rolls Surrette deal.

I hear you. Pains unfamiliar to people North of the border (i.e. of Mex border). Like one SA traveler said, when RV-ing in the US, you don't need more than 6 hours supply of anything. A disposable culture here. I prefer my things to last.
About those 8,9 etc "years". How many times it should be said that battery life is not measured in years. You can have a crappy battery lasting 10 years when you only use it 50-60 days a year.
Btw, a brief search didn't reveal any stores in the US or Canada selling that particular OP Rolls. Only some stores in Europe and AU. Maybe it's marketed here as Fullriver. - Chris_BryantExplorer IIFull River only makes their AGM batteries- as Full River only makes AGM, no flooded or Gel.
That Rolls appears to be this Full River model - pnicholsExplorer IIDoes Full River make all Rolls-Surrette batteries ... or only their AGM ones?
Is that 10 year warranty a Rolls-Surrette practice ... or does Full River usually offer 10 year warranties on batteries with their label on them?
P.S. How do you know that Full River makes that battery for Rolls-Surrette? I notice from Full River's website that they do not offer an AGM battery with their label on it equivalent in performance to that Rolls-Surrette battery shown in my link. - Chris_BryantExplorer II

Or ... if you're really interested in 10 year warranty quality and have "around" Group 31 room in your RV, this 145 AH 12 volter looks more interesting:

That battery is actually made by Full River. - NinerBikesExplorer

bumpy,
Trouble is .... you might have to put those 3-4 other batteries in 3-4 times instead of the one once. :)
Maybe Bumpy needs the exercise? I know it wouldn't bother me a bit. - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerJust like the hassle that Wal-Mart battery cost me 100 DOLLARS IN WASTED HOTEL ROOM money and I got to spend ONE THOUSAND FIFE HUNDRED PESOS (116 dollars) on a crummy battery a GOHNER not even an LTH was available. My trip was RUINED. I lost out on purchasing three hundred dollars worth of stuff that is not available down here. NEVER AGAIN! The next battery is going to be an AC DELCO AGM and I'll give the piece of krap now under the hood away as a gift to someone I don't like.

yep if you only have room for one battery that would be great. at that price I could put in 3-4 other batteries however.
