Water filters

Got a while til we pull out and need to replace stock of water filters.
I had, before old computer crashed links to on source that 10" filters with KDF down .5 micron were a fraction fo the cost of the Hyrolife C2603 from Camping World about $40.00 each there now.
Any 10" filter of about 2.75 will fit but one that gets lead, sulfur iron, zinc, the nasties and of course sediments will work.
The KDF is to kill the nasties.
What I'm finding with shipping is higher than buying at Camping World which is out of stock anyway.
I don't remember the name of the Internet site.
Anyone got iders who has the best prices?
We're headign to Michigan first and the well water is aboslutely full of sediment, so I'm going to use a cheaper prefilter before the highest filtration filter.
Thank ye!
I forgot and with silver.
  • We run an under counter .5 micron filter with silver to sink and fridge ice maker but we want clean water for showering, clothes, dishes etc too.
In Southeast Ga or La. there is so much iron and sulfur and other compounds plus sediment or dirt that it clogged our ceramic filters beyond cleaning even with a prefilter.
In Michigan we had a family camped next to us for the weekend fun on the water.
I noticed they didn't have a water filter of any kind. Showed him the housing of our prefilter full of sediment etc. he said it didn't matter they only ued the water to shower and do clothes. You could tell it too.
  • you may want to consider a PUR Faucet Mount filter with quick disconnect (One Click) feature. Removes lead and cysts and about 70 other contaminants. Best of all it will filter right at the point of use. It can be simply removed from the faucet when traveling.

  • Walmart has filters, not sure if they meet you specs tho. Check their website
  • Try Amazon, type water filter in the search bar. you can also type RV water filter in the search bar.
