Water Pump Fuse

Question

Anyone have a clue as to why I am blowing the fuse on my water pump. Replaced it and immediately blew it again. Camper has been in storage for a month, pulled out to winterize and found the fuse was blown. Replaced and blew again, did this twice now. Help.

You may have a problem with the pump controller if equipped.
Disconnect the pump, then test the system. If it blows locate the pump controller.
Pump controllers of various type are used with switches to turn pump on or off from different locations.

Pump controller IF you have multiple ON/OFF switches for pumpBut if you have just 1 ON/OFF switch for pump....then motor is shorted OR the wire from DC Dist Panel to pump is shorting out.
