- way2rollNavigator IIBattery disconnect?
- 2oldmanExplorer IITime for the voltmeter.
- stickdogExplorerDo other 12v items work on battery power when not hooked to 120v external power?
- BB_TXNomadDo any of your 12 vdc devices work?
Is your battery disconnect switch turned to the disconnect position? - bgumExplorerBad ground?
- opnspacesNavigator IIAre you saying the fuse is good because it visually looks good? Or did you put a volt meter on the fuse while it's plugged in?
If just a visual check you will need a meter to check to verify that there is 12 volts going in and out of the fuse.
At the fuse panel find good 12v positive and ground so you know your tests will be valid. Then leave the ground connected and move the positive lead to the water pump fuse and probe the back of the fuse while it is plugged into the panel and see if you have 12 volts. Probe both holes on the fuse and the meter should read the same. If you measure 12.63 volts on one hole you should also read 12.63 volts on the second hole.
If the readings are different replace the fuse. if both readings are zero you have no power going to the fuse.
If all fuses read zero find the reverse polarity fuses and check them. - chiefwardExplorerJust checked and nothing works on battery. Not receiving 12volt power at fuse panel.. Replaced 30 amp inline fuse, no change. I have power at junction box under bed. Inspected wires from under bed to fuse panel, and no breaks on damage seen. Tomorrow I’m going to see if I can find some 8 gauge stranded copper wire to jump from under bed junction to fuse panel. I checked all connections at fuse panel and buss bar.
- chiefwardExplorerI am so redfaced I’m glowing. BB_TX you were right the switch was off..I just bought this trailer and still learning all it’s ins and outs,,I’m definitely going to put a guard over this button. I thank all for your comments and suggestions. Won’t make this mistake again.
- BB_TXNomadIt happens. If that’s the biggest mistake you make you will be doing great. Most of us have done worse at least once in our RV life. :B

Queston: Have you used what I call the Dog Shower (Outside shower) recently?
ER Yes, what does that have to do with it?
Did you cut off the water flow at the head and leave the mixer valves open?
