It is obvious that the 2 circled wires are for 12 volts(since you stated YOU spec'd out for 6 volt installation) The dealer tech was stupid and did not connect correctly after installing the 6 volt batteries. The WHITE is Ground and the RED is positive. WHAT they do is simple to figure out. Disconnect them, try the Emergency brake away(pull the lanyard) and see if you hear the brake magnets engage OR leave connected to your truck and then attempt to drive forward. If the trailer moves, those are NOT the brake away power wires. FYI, Brake away power is usually tied into the 7 way tow plug harness where the tow cable is wired to the trailer on the BLUE brake wire. Try the Tongue jacks, but it is probably NOT that as the ground for the tongue is done by the mount bolts. Then, go thru the trailer and try everything 12 volt until you find something 12 volt not working. Doug
