The wires are fairly heavy; trace them out and see where they go. Perhaps into the trailer plug for charging purposes from the Tow Vehicle? If that's it, DON'T plug it into your TV unless you want blown fuses and/or alternator in said TV! Did you tow the trailer home with it plugged in to your TV?
Here's my take: the dealer installed the 6v batteries as you requested, but when it came to the smaller wires, since they are taped together into one bundle just 6-8" from their ends, they can no longer reach the true 12v pos & neg terminals of the new 6/6 battery bank. So the dumba__ tech doing the installation simply hooked them up to the closest pos & neg term...
I don't have a tv yet, and as long as I'm in charge, we won't. But the wife can be quite persuasive...
The wires go to the prewired solar hookup on the side of the trailer. As for the dealer, I hope they had to put them somewhere and I guess zero potential is as good as not connected, yet out of the way and secure. Hopefully they aren't that dumb.
But the situation has been corrected. Wires are disconnected, tied up and secured for when I'm ready to put in a portable solar charger.
