Window air conditioner with a twist

OK...don't get all worked up over this question! Let me explain what I have. After removing the old anchor of a TV year's ago(my Vogue had the TV under the dash), I have used that space for a number of things from an electric heater, to a dorm refer to plain old storage. My dash air hasn't work since I've owned it and spending the money to completely redo from rear diesel to front condenser ...isn't likely soooo??

I was measuring today while changing things up and again thought about placing a 10-12,000 BTU window air in that space aforementioned. I have room to the rear (depth wise) to install some type of Plenum to exhaust air and bring in air from under the front of the motorhome. I see this as the only real issue, the exchange of air. I know having this up front would certainly make the cockpit much more comfortable while driving. Oh, yes, I do use the front roof air often(15,000 BTU) but even with fans blowing forward, that large windshield is just hard to defeat.

Any thoughts from you Do-it-yourself types out there. I know this would take some innovative tinkering but it's just a thought and the dimensions of the air's I was looking at would fill the space perfectly.
