Windshield shifted

I have a 2004 Damon Challenger, and I have just noticed that my windshield has shifted on the bottom . I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced this? And if so how can I prevent this from happening again? Is there anything I can do to fix the problem myself without it costing me thousands of dollars?
