- GordonThreeExplorerWhen you switch to "seek" mode on the Winegard, you get 11 individual channels, or it just shows the number 11, which is going to be the strongest channel being received. When on "seek" you should be able to press up or down and count the number of channels being received. Keep the gain setting as low as possible, as usually more power makes things work instead of better.
- wyocowboy00Explorer IIIf you are able to do so and have a multi-meter, go up on the roof and disconnect the coax cable going to the antenna and check to see if you have 12 volts on the cable going back toward the amplifier. If not, then there is probably a blown fuse.
- DReisingerExplorerI show 11 channels on the channel setting, running the gain at 10 changed to 15, no difference. No channels without an amplifier. We are about 45 miles North of WPB
- GordonThreeExplorerHow many channels are listed using the seek or channel readout on the Winegard?
What do you have the gain set to?
How many channels do you get with no booster at all (are you in a fringe area?)
