I have the same awning and the screws were loose the first year, even though I rarely use it. I looked at others and saw many loose screws. At a minimum, remove the screws one at a time and reinstall using red thread locker.
It will be fine, with just a thin engagement with sheet metal parts, the blue will do next to nothing, even the red will have little resistance when removing.
