FishOnOne - I basically the same truck except it is a KR. And the same experience as you. Currently in Colorado at 8,600 ft and it was great towing over the mountain passes.
As far as Michelins my experience with them has been great. All I have used on my trucks and wife's cars for years and have never had a failure. And completely happy with the mileage I have gotten out of them.
