Towing our fifth wheel loaded for a weekend of camping up and over summits of 6500' through the South Central mountains we got 14 mpg and with plenty of power to spare! Love the tow/haul mode coming back down those same grades. Up and over Horseshoe Bend hill with 3 truck/trailer runaway ramps and rated in the Mountain Directory West as one to be cautious with, no problem in either direction. We don't drive ours as much thought - just got a reminder to come in for the 15K check-up and free oil change. In actuality, we only have a little over 11K miles on it.
