Would you buy a '77 Cadillac or T-Bird to use as your full-time ride? Nearly 40 years old. RV's are typically more poorly made than automobiles. Are you the mechanic in the family? Listen closely to the person that has to maintain whatever you buy? Many vacations/holidays ruined by rig failures/maintenance issues. Are parts available? Do you want to use it to camp or because you like classic/antique stuff? You get to decide, enjoy whatever you do!
(Now you know I'm the mechanic in my family. My wife thinks fondly of pioneering and Conestoga wagons, but then she never tried collecting enough buffalo chips to build a cook fire on the way to California.)
