2011 Ram 2500 6.7L Turbo

Ended up finding some new (old stock) on Ebay and had the Service Director almost match the price by using 10% over (employee discount). I think it was 2.7K out of the door and I didn't have to worry about shipping back core and it is has dealer's warranty.

It would have been cheaper to get a rebuilt modified one but I heard so many different opinions on size I didn't want to get something that wouldn't work with my stock drivetrain and existing emissions.

Actually it is almost a wash for me. I looked online and saw up to6k for Ram part but my dealership is 4k. Cummins don't give discounts but dealership do to those with accounts with them. Looks like 3K either way from them. 2000-2200 for old new stock and 1200-2000 reman depending on stock vs modded and new or reman actuator.

Locate your local Cummins shop/parts store, pricing is far better than a dealer.

Thanks did all that. Might get one from Ebay either old new stock or reman either stock or mild upgraded. I checked the forums and only saw core models and one not for stock engines. I am not sure if I am going to mod the drivetrain (tune, exhause, deletes) or keep it this way for a bit.

What does 2nd gen swap consist of?
I was looking at stock and slightly modded turbos so far.

I bought this as is and yes the trans had issues too so just replaced it. I just heard from a rebuilder that a bad actuator (mines has cut wires) can cause stuck or damaged nozzle ring in the turbo so will definitely replace turbo as well.
