I have no additional warranty above the 36/3. The Geico policy was added the day before I picked up the truck.

no argument from me...but it is a fact that GM has quietly fixed all the 2011 and up Bosch CP4 series breakdowns...and Ford routinely rejects their HPFP warranty claims...

Hmmm, so GM has quietly stepped up and fixed the CP4.2 problem. Not trying to cause an argument here, but I wonder when they're going to quietly step up and fix the '05 overheating issues? No more GM products for me.

100k/7 year extended coverage. It reads as a bumper to bumper. You have to purchase it while still under 15k miles and 15 months old. I think rental cars and what not fall under your other policy details.

I was thinking about that recently closed thread and the new drummer...while I do not object to the veracity if his defense of the "Blue Oval", I do wish he would not try to forward his feckless arguments by attempting to defend Ford by his relentless bashing of the competition. The political rants are disingenuous at best and the feeble attempts to imply that the new Ram HD's may have the delicate Bosch CP4 series HPFP are a even more than disingenuous...

If one still believes that Ford's shameful treatment of their failed HPFP warranty considerations does not exist, I will again point to the 400% higher Mechanical Breakdown insurance premiums that the Gecco charges for the same coverage on a Ford over a GM...

My MBI with Geico is 10 dollars a month. Your saying some people are paying around 2.5 dollars a month for the same coverage? I've never heard of it being that low on a current model year 55k truck. I asked my buddy with a 2009 Chevy 1/2 ton and he pays 12 a month. What is everyone else paying?

That rate is for a 2014 F350.

What does MBI cover? I assume you're under full factory coverage with a 2014...does it cover hotel bills, etc.?

You have hit the nail on the proverbial head, when you advise get one that fit's your butt the best.

I've had many vehicles since 1965...when I first got my driver's license.

Some I've loved...some I've hated. I've had GM's Fords, Volvo, Volkswagen, Toyota....also a varied assemblage of motorcycles.

No mopars though. Don't know why ? I might correct that next time I sign on the dotted line, as there's a lot to like in the mopar line.

But what makes the best vehicle for me.....the one that is most comfortable either for short around town trips or when I've driving across country.

The one that fit my butt and other anatomical parts... the best.

If it isn't comfortable....and if my wife doesn't like it....then it doesn't make the cut.
