2013 Northstar TC800

Yesterday I purchased a gently used Northstar TC800. I nearly bought a TC approximately 5 years ago but opted for a 27' toyhauler. The toyhauler was great but as it was just me camping, I didn't like to tow something that large. So I sold it, bought this and hope it suits my needs better.
A big thumbs up to Northstar. I sent an email to them asking for any information they may have about the camper, and the same day received a call from the north American sales manager who went over everything with me. I greatly appreciated their response and it tends to underscore all the good things you read about the company. So I'm getting some torklifts installed and will pick it up then. I'm pretty excited about using it.

  • Thank you for all the feedback and sharing personal experiences about Northstar. Not sure if this link will work but thus is a sideshow of my tc.

  • At a TC rally a few years ago, somebody had refrigerator problems. A call to Rex shortly before 5PM, and over the phone, for the next hour plus, talked a couple guys through the fix. the owner, a thousand miles from home, was very happy to have a working refrigerator for the long trip back.
  • I had a TC800 for 12 years and recently sold it to get a Northstar Laredo SC. No doubt you were talking with Billy. A good man! I have talked to the company owner, Rex when I had technical questions. All the people at Northstar have been great and I really like their campers.
  • Congrats, TxTiger! Many of us came from other types of RVs as well.

Kudos to Northstar for taking care of a new TC owner of one of their used units.
  • As a previous Northstar 8.5 Arrow owner (7years) which I picked up at the factory and met many of the people there, I can vouch for the quality of their products and customer support. You won't find a better bunch of folks.
  • Congrats on the new camper! Always nice when a company cares about the customers, even if they aren't the original buyer. :)
  • Congratulations and welcome to the community. If you've been browsing the forum long you've probably seen glowing reviews of Northstar support. Now you know it isn't all just blind customer loyalty.

Happy camping and post pics when you can.
