Mine is white with the gold trim and painted bumpers. It really stays LOOKING clean but does look much better after a bath.
I've seen that color combo and like it...I think the two tone set's it off...some like the one solid color, but on a dually with the two tone, I think it "makes it":) - Cummins12V98Explorer IIIMine is white with the gold trim and painted bumpers. - NC_HaulerExplorerTop of the steering wheel being wood instead of leather....I like it...different feeling, can still feel the heat when you have the "heated steering wheel turned on:).....I like the wooden accents...not plastic..
Also agree with last post...I've had a black truck..LOOKS SHARP when clean, but son, to get all the swirl marks out or any scratches...and I'm one of those idiot perfectionist...has to be "JUST RIGHT"....had the black crew cab long bed dually....going to stay with light colors from now on... - catfishmontanaExplorer

Hey Jim that is a compliment! I usually am referred to as much worse than that.
My point is it is amazing what my truck does for me and the 13's will perform so much better.
I just don't think I could go without the fancy stitching on the leather! Maybe I could trade seats.
You know, I liked the fancy stitching also, but they aren't doing it to the 13's that I'm aware of. I do know there is a step up in leather upholstery between a laramie and the Longhorn. This Longhorn has all the other fancy "stuff" on the seats and the console, just not the stitching. Also, instead of plastic accents on the doors and dash, it's accented with real wood, .pretty cool, including top part of steering wheel.
No excuse now not to buy one. Here is one with the fancy stitching. 2013 Ram Longhorn
That is a beautiful truck! But my current one is black and so was my last one.....next one will be white. Black is such a pain, but man it looks good clean. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

Awesome! Thanks for the link.
They sure want a lot for the truck, monotone paint and no painted bumpers.
I see the added the coin collectors in the console and some electronic stuff.
Jim,
What is your opinion on the top of the wheel not being leather? - NC_HaulerExplorerTravelingman, thanks for the link..SON!!! that was a lot of pictures....all very cool...I believe that stitching is fancier than what was in my 12' Longhorn!! I just don't like black...too hard to keep clean and looking good, (I know, I had one, never again)....
OK, stitching is back on.....:) - TravlingmanExplorer II

It wasn't too long ago that a retired couple in their Super Duty 7.3 psd challenged me and I dusted him too. :B
I will say two things. 1st of all the 7.3 is still running a decade later. 2 thumbs up!
2nd off I think I still have a 68 VW Bug that would dust it also :B They were upgraded that year to something like 40 HP....
I'm to old for drag racing nowadays, especially on public roads. But maintaining speed pulling up the Grapevine at 24k lbs is sweet. Even better to go the posted speed limit (35 MPH) down the back side without touching the service brakes. That there is priceless.
Even with my wrong 3:42 gears I run 55 or more from Mexico to the Canadian border on I-5 with 28,240# combined weight. My truck scales at 13,940#, maybe I should get a 13 so I can be within factory specs?
Don't get all smart aleckly on us in here:B
I'm with Rick, I stopped the drag racing some years back...didn't see any future in it with speeding tickets costing a mint along with car insurance premiums not being cheap either, and heaven forbid if there were an accident while one was racing someone from two lane to a single lane or from light to light.
I'm happy with hitting the bottom of the mountain on I 64 from Sandstone Falls to Beckley WV, I 26 from TN into NC, I26 Saluda grade, Black Mountain, I 40, and all the secondary roads I travel, to be at speed of 55-62 (or lower depending on speed limit), and maintain speed and/or pick up speed easily by the time you "get to the top" of those mountains. Many more in around the areas of WV, TN, NC, SC and VA that I tow in, (all mountains), and seeing as how I'm not racing anyone or towing at speeds faster than 65 mph, that's fast enough and will get us where we want to go in plenty of time, seems to be safer and I can get better mpg when towing between 55-62 mph.....and NEVER held traffic up anywhere.
.............course there was the Chrysler Crossfire SRT6 some years back....but I digress:B
