Chevy determines your trucks GVWR and the GAWRs. Trucks out here on the roads don't use GVWR for how much loads the axles/tires can carry.
Are you sure the 3950 isn't a RAWR number. Generally the trucks front axle is rated less than the rear axle as the rear axle carries the load from a hitch weight.
Just took another look. 3925 is listed under frnt. Guess its built for a plow but I dont have the plow prep package don't even think it was ever offered with a 1500.
