You must have a diesel?
Fish, I do, with 4.10 rear axle. Buried that sucker on St. Augustine Beach last May, was 'extricated' by a guy with 4 wheel drive Tundra. :o Even with 'bagging' the tires at the suggestion of a sheriff's deputy that happened by, it was a 'no go' until the guy with the Tundra saved my bacon.
Lessons learned: An all season highway tread tire don't belong in sand, and St. Augustine Beach (where driving/parking is allowed) is nowhere near as packed as the sands of Daytona.......:S
Kind of what I thought. I'll never forget having to always pull my uncles '80's Ford diesel 2 wheel drive from getting stuck. He even tried mud tires, but the weight bias on the front end just overwhelmed the rear tires traction.
