For a bit of fun - here is a cool ride (my Mustang was NOT like this):
Ken Block's Mustang
I really like the Hoonicorn mustang in the Ken Block video. It is a much better example of how a performance V8 should sound than the GT350 mustang.
But I really don't care for the Ken Block video itself. While Ken Block is a better driver than I could dream of being the video doesn't really showcase it. It really seems like he is over his head trying to control the car through most of it. The amount of tire tracks on the road during the video shows that he took many many tries at lots of the shots. It looks like he is just wildly pitching it into many of the turns and eventually it stick without spinning out or hitting anything. pasusan wrote:

Ken Block's Mustang - FordloverExplorerThe mustang has always been a great muscle car value proposition, arguably the best value proposition. I don't imagine the GT350 will be any different.
The valve adjustment on the SHO went from 60K to 100K on the later model 3.0 and 3.2 SHO's, around 93 if I remember correctly. I never had a valve out of spec so adjusting the valve lash was never required.
Our 1989 race prepped SHO still makes me smile each time I get behind the wheel and strap in for a stint. - BurbManExplorer II

It would sound like a motorcycle engine! The problem with my buddy's Taurus SHO (mid 90's) was the alternator would spin to fast if the engine redline was not kept below 7,000 RPM, the engine could handle more than the alternator!
Fred.
Glorious engines in those early SHO's. I owned an 89 and a 95 model. My team fields several SHO's in the sh*tbox racing series in the Gulf coast region, so we know them well. It is a very competitive car, and a blast to drive.
If only I had the coin to spring for a 2016 350 GT, what a sweet ride!
I had a 94 SHO, loved that car!! Finally sold it in 03, parts were getting to be impossible to find. That Yammy engine was a dream, and as we used to say, the car eventually falls apart around the motor. Except for the required valve adjustment at 60K miles.... - dodge_guyExplorer II

All I seen was a video game debut or a CAG commercial. When they want to show us the real thing then I`ll take notice.
Lots of videos of it. It was unveiled live at the LA show.

Obviously this car will not be cheap, but the real gating item will be availability and the quantity of cars planned for production will weigh in on the price too.
My guess is going to be base price of $55K. I have read a few rumors of production figures similar to the GT500's of the last couple years. I'm just not so sure that there will be that many buyers though. I mean, the big dog is just around the corner, and how many guys are road course oriented? I bet it makes for a great canyon carver. - Fast_MoparExplorerFord V8's have a great sound, always have. That's why Ford pipes the V8 sound into the cabin of new Ecoboost V6 F150's.
