The Edmunds numbers are fictional, they are "best case" towing options; HD towing package, largest available engine, tallest gears available (3:42 for 'Burb/Tahoe), and no 4WD.
If you are looking at them, the payload is on the door sticker and is based on the RPO options list in the glove box.
