Again, those ratings (MTWR, payload, cargo capacity, etc) are all based or derived
from the 'curb' weight
Unless you have or will purchase the stripper model...it will weigh more than the curb listing
Many will advise that the 'new' labels list 'actual' weight of the vehicle, but
after taking about an hour to educate myself that just maybe the OEMs are now
weighing the vehicle at the end of the assembly line...found buried in the documentation
that the OEMs are still using the 'curb' weight, which is the stripper model
with one 150 lb driver and full fluids (most, but some only half a tank)
