The 2016 Camaro looks great. Better than the 2015 Mustang, in my opinion.

The interior of the Camaro is far nicer but the body of the Mustang is better looking to me and it's lighter too.

Drats!GotIn the late '60's I had a '67 Camaro RS coupe, with the 327 V8 and 4 speed Muncie. I know exactly what you mean about that mono leaf rear suspension. That axle used to jackhammer on hard starts. I also didn't care for the GM shifter, although a Hurst shifter would improve things. Did I mention the 9.5 inch drum brakes ?Other than those things, I really liked my '67 Camaro RS. There's only a few vehicles I've had, that I still wish I had. That Camaro was one, another was my '62 Volvo PV544s (Sport), with the B18s engine.I actually wouldn't mind having a 2016 Camaro...the 3.6 liter V6 engine would do just fine for me.

Who knew the Camry and the Camaro were so closely related? And the Camry was the aggressive one?

That said, the rest of the Camaro, and the drivetrain, look really good. Nice to see both the Mustang and Camaro return to glory. Wish they'd been a little more distinctive with that front end, though. I wish the 2015 Mustang had been a little more distinctive as well in that area.

Funny, my wife and I were just talking about maybe getting rid of the fw and getting a class A, then getting something small to tow behind it. I suggested maybe a Challenger or Camaro, but no, she wants some tiny practical car.

I am not sure how you know that the Mustang is lighter. They have not released the weight of the Camaro yet.

I drove my dad's new Corvette last week with the same engine/8 speed auto. Ran like a total bat out of heck so the Camaro should do almost as well. Not the same as the 650 hp Z06 I got spin in a few weeks ago but like the Hellcat, we all can't have one!

Possibly could make for a great TV. Probably need an custom HD hitch/receiver.
