2016 Keystone Laredo - Water Damage Rear Wall

Like I said previously, any dealer can refuse work including the dealer you purchased the trailer from 700 miles away. A buddy of mine runs the shop side and he's shared plenty of paid warranty claims with me. They're getting pretty close to 75 percent of their posted shop rate to do warranty work. Shops don't get paid a pittance for warranty work. The approved labor rate is normally a percentage of the posted shop rate and something competitive with other shops in the area. It's really not hard for efficient shops to easily clear a profit on warranty work. There's some paperwork, phone calls, and repayment isn't instantaneous, but most shops around the country seem to have figured it out. If warranty work was so terrible then no one would do it especially when you're not obligated to. If a shop told me to pay up and seek reimbursement from the manufacturer then I would hook up my trailer and never bring it back to those clowns. There's too many other viable options.

I purchased my rv 700 miles from my house and had warranty issues a few months later. Local rv dealer said he would do repairs, but I had to pay for the work when it was completed and I would have to submit the bill to Forrest river for reimbursement.
I call F.R. and they told me local dealer is not obligated to do warranty work.
RV dealers arent like auto. dealers.

Ive had two dealers tell me warranty work pay is low and slow, hardly good money.

It doesn't matter where the purchase originates from, any dealer can refuse the work. Dealer's aren't obligated to perform warranty work on any trailer, even on trailers that they've sold themselves. Agreements authorize warranty work to be performed, but they don't go as far as requiring the dealer to perform it. In the real world there aren't many dealers that will outright refuse warranty work considering that they get paid good money for the work.

Do you see an actual separation or do you just see a wavy bubbly wall at the top?

If you purchased the trailer at Holman RV's best of luck. They have the best prices and the worst service. I purchased our tt from there and when we had massive problems ended up having to go around them directly to the manufacturer who did at least approve the work. Good Luck!

Good point. I forgot about that. I`ve seen a few like that now that you mention it. maybe the OP should go look at a few other similar brands.

Actually, yes they do its part of the contract they signed to sell the brand.

You may want to verify the construction of the trailer rear wall. On many Keystone trailers, there is no wood under the filon sheet. The rear filon sheet is hung on a fiberglass insulated stud wall and held in place by the trim arond the outside and any wall penetrations. Does it look funky? Many people think so. Is it delaminated? No. It was never laminated to begin with.
