2016 Nissan Titan XD Cummins Payload
Saw my first one in the flesh today. Really had high hopes for this truck. My enthusiasm waned when I saw the payload sticker :( MSRP was $58k.

That is why the courts mandated TPMS (tire pressure monitor sensor...or

Court mandated because of the Ford Explorer and Firestone issue with too low a PSI
listed on the Explorer labels/manual...and because Ford lowered the recommendation
to appease their customers who wanted 'ride quality' over performance
It took a few deaths before the government agencies took action. Before that, finger
pointing between Firestone and Ford
Don't remember if either OEM were fined or not...it took so long and the back
and forth news articles
Do remember so many comments from OEMs, agencies, etc that stated and
all agreed that the public is ignorant about tire pressure...not good
at checking them often enough, etc
