2016 Nissan Titan XD Cummins Payload
Saw my first one in the flesh today. Really had high hopes for this truck. My enthusiasm waned when I saw the payload sticker :( MSRP was $58k.

As to the lack of payload, base Titan XD has around 2k with crew cab. RAM 2500 5.7 C.C. 4x4 is 2,190. RAM 2500 6.7 TD C.C. 4x4 is 2,190. RAM 2500 C.C. Power Wagon is... 1,480. Pro-4X is a competitor to the P.W. with almost identical payload.
4900 lb RAWR vs 6500 lb, though. The three standard SRW heavy duty trucks are a lot more truck for about the same money. But that being said the current crop of regular half tons don't really cost any less than their big brothers either.
The PW is a more capable truck with two solid axles, lockers and swaybar disconnects. I don't know exactly what the Pro-X package offers but the IFS alone would hamper it a lot compared to the PW.
