No clue. I can tell you the coil rear suspension in my truck rides fantastic. Even with the pin weight of about 2,000lbs it squats just a little and rides very smooth. My previous truck was an '04 Chevy 2500HD with gas engine and there is no comparison in ride between the two. The RAM feels like it floats compared to the Chevy.

I believe it but going to leafs on the 3500 must be for load reasons, otherwise why not use coils on it as well.
