Nah, but just as quite a few say,

All three of the Big Three do make a nice truck.

I am not a Ford guy. I got it because it was the only 3/4 ton with an 8' bed. It's a nice comfortable truck. 6000 miles on it.

What year is your Silverado? How's does the F250 compare in terms of amenities, ride, and power?

My Silverado is an '09 with top of the line LTZ trim package.

What really disappointed me about it was how much noise comes through.

This F250 with a mid grade trim package is way more quiet than my 2500.

Of course it is brand new, and all made improvements, but makes me wonder what a top of the line trim package from Ford would be like.

Saw the new f250 ford on the interstate a few days ago, gas job and 4x4 short bed. Looked like a really nice truck! Yes the new trucks regardless of brand all seem to be more quiet then my 09 as well, just like the 09 was much quieter and better then my 02. Got a call from my local gmc dealer twice in the last month. They want me to trade my 09 in and will give me more then it's worth they say. They want the 2016 models to disappear I guess. I can't even think of a new truck at this time, knowing me it will be many years ahead prior even the thought. I told the sales guy that I just turned 80k and nowhere ready for the supposed upgrade. For those who can that's cool and enjoy the newness. I am thinking that when I do change trucks I will go back to a long bed with 4 doors and of course a 4x4. I really like the use of my 69 truck cause it has the long bed and comes in so handy at times. May not always be fun to park but that extra space in the back works out really well. My choice would be the single rear wheel 3500 series.

All three have made strides in improvements, if they didn't there would be no incentive to trade.

And it takes all three plus a little foreign completion to keep strides in improvements coming. ;)

I'm sure you know, but worth noting anyway, in 2014 (1500) and 2015 (HD) GM redesigned the whole truck and one of the notable changes was the dramatic reduction of noise heard in the interior.

But as others have said, all of the big 3 have made noticeable changes in the past few years.

Most Chevy guys are very impressed when the drive an F150.
