Hate to bust your bubble but no gremlins with either of our 2015's. You must not have any first hand experience with them.:B Are you related to Troy? Sorry couldn't help myself.:B
Sounds to me reading on another forum, that Ford put a lot of effort into bells and whistles vs a HUUUUUUGE (as the Donald would say) power increase.
So welcome to the world of electrical gremlins! Have they gotten their sync system flying right yet?

"Well, maybe it's time for Ram to put together a 4500 pickup?"
Don't think there is any reason to do so. Ford already is competing with the RAM 3500 with it's F450. I am sure that is enough reason for RAM to leave well enough alone.
That would be with their 2 wheel drive single cab dually? That's what Ram uses to claim their current highest available tow numbers. Not sure what the take rate on a 2wd single cab dually is, but it can't be very high. If you want to compare apples to apples, let's see the numbers of the F350 4x4 crew cab vs. the Ram 3500 4x4 crew cab since that is the most popular configuration these days. Then do the same comparison for Ford's upcoming 2017 model. Ford easily trumps Ram's current offerings and does it with a crew cab and 4wd standard.
Well it is the Maximum, Ford and GM all do the same. Ford use to drop the rear bumper and spare tire. - Adam_RExplorer

I can't believe ford has to use their f450 to use as towing comparisons to everyone else's 1 tons.
Are they still doing that for 2017?
Well, maybe it's time for Ram to put together a 4500 pickup? They have copied a few other ideas from Ford, why not copy that idea as well. Competition between the two companies has been great for us consumers.
Regardless, the only difference between the Ford 350 and 450 is different tires, wheels, brakes and gear ratio's. Yes the spring pack and axles are different, but they won't get you up or down the Ike Gauntlet any faster. The two Ford models have the same engine, same calibration, same frame, and same everything else. If anything, the 450 is handicapped because it's a heavier due to the larger and heavier axles it runs.
Go ahead and put the 350 and 3500 against one another if the 450 badging makes people feel inferior. The winner will still be the same, just farther ahead of the 3500 this time around. ;)

Or welcome to the world of creature comforts and awesome technology. I don't know about you, but I love my cruise control (gremlin), air conditioner (gremlin), power windows and locks (gremlins), digital radio (gremlin), Bluetooth features and GPS (gremlins), fuel injection (gremlins) and on and on.
Granted, those things had growing pains when they first appeared... but someone had to take the plunge and design it first. - Me_AgainExplorer IIISounds to me reading on another forum, that Ford put a lot of effort into bells and whistles vs a HUUUUUUGE (as the Donald would say) power increase.

It only really confuses when we are stuck on the old naming conventions like half ton, one ton, etc. Just go by the gvw ratings and not get so hung up on the number on the fender. Why is there a GMC and Chevy truck? Because they can. - HuntindogExplorerA 3" reciever????
Does anyoneone sell shanks etc. for that?
I cannot imagine lifting a 3" WD drawbar into the reciever. Probably have to call a crane service.
Once in place, it would never get removed... Gonna be a lot of debates about the rights/legalities of that here..
I am not sure of rhe purpose. My 2" drawbar is rated just as high as the current 2.5s.
