I think Ford (and GM) truck owners are far more interested in function than styling. I think Dodge owners are more interested in styling than Ford or Chevy owners are, indeed, I remember they had difficulty giving Dodge trucks away until they made them self consciously pretty about 20 years ago.
Note too the change in name from Dodge to Ram; that tells you something about the market being aimed at.
:) Hi, if it wasn't for the Cummins diesel engine Dodge wouldn't be around long enough to change their name to Ram. It wasn't because they made them pretty, because they are pretty ugly!
Are you saying this is ugly?
Just like at the bar. It's a 8 until it gets around the good looking trucks. Than probably around a 6. :)
But seriously, great looking combo.
Funny!
Thanks - mich800Explorer

I like it, looks much like my 2015 GMC except for the round fender wells, Nice!
alboy..
find a good frontal shot of a 99/2000 Superduty and put it beside a picture of your 2015 GMC.
Blur out the name logos on the grill and ask a friend which is which?
If they are not really up on their trucks they probably will have a hard time telling a 15 year old Ford from a 2015 GMC... :B
Im serious, try it, no disrespect meant to your truck.
I like the looks of the front end. - HannibalExplorer

did they join the 21st century and get away from the twin I beam front suspension? the rear shocks are still mounted inboard of the springs
The question is whether you have been paying attention for the last 20 years. Guess not since there hasn't been a twin I beam or TTB for about that long!
My 2000 F250 had twin I beam front suspension.
Only 15 years old.. :W
My 2010 SD has twin I-beam IFS. It's one of the many reasons I bought it.
Not everyone is a big fan of the 1960 Plymouth Valiant styling of the new Ram or noodle art gold hoopty hoops over the wheel wells. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Beautiful truck. But not for everyone. - Cummins12V98Explorer III
