Now this would be cool! - hone_eagleExplorerNo such thing as bad publicity, about the time this furour dies down Ford will release a better or different picture and it will all start up again.
Ford is a master of this 'keep the pot at a low boil for months' they know how to use social media and the internet and its all free. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

It's too high
It's too low
Fenders look too tall
Hood looks like a Chevy.
Man there's only so many new car designs to go around. New SD looks decent to me and I'm not a Ford guy. Bout time they scrapped the 17 year old chassis for something new.
Gotta hand it to Ford to keep their trucks top of the heap in sales with outdated technology for this long. Welcome the new SD.
If the big 3 keep upping the anti, we will have class 8 daily drivers by the next new chassis in 2035!
MM49 - steve-n-vickiExplorerthe new ram grill reminds me of an old GMC
- steve-n-vickiExplorerhey grit dog the twin I beam came out in 1965 , my 2005 SD had it, a 2015 SD that I looked at had twin I beam , so it has been around for 50 years now , get your facts straight before you post

did they join the 21st century and get away from the twin I beam front suspension? the rear shocks are still mounted inboard of the springs
The question is whether you have been paying attention for the last 20 years. Guess not since there hasn't been a twin I beam or TTB for about that long!
My 2000 F250 had twin I beam front suspension.
Only 15 years old.. :W - irishtom29ExplorerI think Ford (and GM) truck owners are far more interested in function than styling. I think Dodge owners are more interested in styling than Ford or Chevy owners are, indeed, I remember they had difficulty giving Dodge trucks away until they made them self consciously pretty about 20 years ago.
Note too the change in name from Dodge to Ram; that tells you something about the market being aimed at. - StefoniusExplorer
