- IdaDExplorerSmells like BS to me.
- BedlamModeratorThere are aftermarket conversion kits to go from CP4 to CP3. Everything I read was that the CP3 could not provide enough fuel rail pressure for the current engine outputs without creating more emissions. Perhaps atomization is insufficient but volume can keep up?

Sounds like Fake News to me. That being said there have been people who have put on a CP3 and have had no driveability issues, or codes set for that matter.
On the 2019-20 Ram 6.7 ??? - Grit_dogNavigatorScuttlebutt is that its legit.
If so, that's extremely cool. Then one could get a CP3 reflash and stay stock. - FlanExplorerSounds like Fake News to me. That being said there have been people who have put on a CP3 and have had no driveability issues, or codes set for that matter.

- Cummins12V98Explorer IIII am skeptical. I thought the CP3 couldn’t deliver enough pressure so they went to the 4 ???
- Turtle_n_PeepsExplorerI don't think the EPA or about 10 other government agencies are going to go for that.
You can't even change one line of software unless you get approval from a bunch of agencies. - garyp4951Explorer IIIMakes me glad I bought a 2018.
- Grit_dogNavigatorNo way! Seriously?
I mean that’s a great fix and kudos to Ram if it’s true.
It’s not April 1 so.....
Be cheaper for them to add disaster prevention kits to all the trucks then if they do fail it only cost 10-20% as much to repair.
