That would be my suggestion as well. Make sure the CABLE ENDS on the two units for sale are exactly alike AND will fit your trailer connection. I suspect this is what the difference is going to be. I would also purchase the heaviest and largest cable size they have. Your best bet would to go to real RV PARTS store. The parts store where I got my RV Trailer was very well stocked and those folks knows exactly what you need...
I would imagine WALMART would allow you to try it out if you took the trailer to the WALMART store, especially if they have the auto shop. They have been pretty good at this for some of my purchase items. I always check with AMAZON as the best place to buy these things. They are usually the cheapest and has free shipping. Usually a two day delivery for me.
