Your searching pain is felt by many. I looked far and wide to locate a 2011 model (pre DEF) but could only locate the one I wanted in KY. Being in CA, figuring the cost of transporting/driving it out, long distance purchase etc.. we gave up and got a 2013. Yes, they're pricey, but looking a good clean used ones vs. the 2013 incentives GM is offering, we just bit the bullet and got a new one. Not regretting the decision and glad to have the complete warranty period at our disposal, just would've liked to find a used one somewhere in our hemisphere. You noted you weren't in a hurry so, keep looking, something will eventually turn up. Good luck!
