The J2807 is for towing only. It has nothing to do with GVWR or GAWR ratings. As said above, the 2015 Mega Cabs are 6000 FGAWR and 6,500 RGAWR yet they have the exact same front axle and rear axle parts as the crew cabs going by Mopar online parts lookup. Same parts, but different ratings on a lighter truck? Seems a bit odd to me. I know for a fact that the Power Wagon rear springs are softer linear rate springs and not the stiffer progressive rate springs like the other models yet the Power Wagon seems to have a 6,200 RGAWR. Again, seems a bit odd.
