5 yr extended warrenty on new TT
I am sure this question has been asked before, but here goes again , will p/u the new TT in a week due to work schedule,and plan on doing a thorough PDI, dealer mentioned getting a 5 yr. extended warr...

So, my question is? If you pay for a 5 year warranty and your new TT comes with a 2 or 1 Year warranty for free, are you in effect paying for the 2 or 1 years that would be free. And also the paid 5 year warranty starts immediately and not at the end of the 2 or 1 year warranty. Correct? I personally feel it should not start until the end of the 2 or 1 year warranty. You should be able to buy the same warranty then. Am I thinking to hard to early in the morning?
