I'll go out on a limb and say any mpg with a 2 in the 10s column is not accurate or at least not sustainable.
Flat grandma style driving with our 6.4 Charger which weighs waaaay less and far more aero is low 20s.
But I do love ridiculous fuel mileage claims. Good entertainment!
on that note, gassers have come a long way. I attribute the more recent gains to cylinder deactivation. Comparatively in 3/4 tons had 2 - 6.2 Fords in recent years that couldn't get 15mpg if you towed them somewhere, no 4cyl mode on them. 2011 5.0 F150 that was a bit better, with the OE puny bald tires would get 15-17mpg if driving miss daisy. 2016 5.3 Silvy I have now gets 18-19mpg driving slow on the highway (under 75ish). BUT upsize tires one size with an AT tread and it knocks 1-2mpg off.
