My 05 Ram Cummins is always showing 1 to 2 mpg better than a hand calculation but my wife's 2013 Ford Edge shows 1 to 2 mpg worse than what we actually get doing a hand calcualation.
Lie o meters are just that. I think it depends on how much starting and stopping of the engine that you do.
