I wish my 6.4 would come close to that. I have never seen over 14.2 mpg empty and usually closer to 13.5 (just over 15k on the truck now). These are hand calculated and the EVIC is within .5 mpg of the hand calculated.
Based on the research I did, I'd say your numbers are more typical.
