My '14 6.4l EVIC has been pretty close each time I've hand checked it, within .2, and it's read both a bit high and a bit low. Close enough that I don't hand check on a regular basis anymore, just spot check now and then.
I've gotten as high as 19 unloaded on a long (400 miles) drive, at mostly 65mph. Higher speeds or wind quickly drop it to 16.0 to 18.0 depending on circumstances. To be fair, I see 17-ish more often than 18+. Haven't checked it with our new 80mph speed limit yet. Not sure I want to know.
