I've seen emissions test results from Washington DC where they tested a bus with modern emissions, the emissions from the pipe were less than ambient in regards to NOx and Particulates. Same when a local university did some curbside emissions testing and found just about no change with ambient whenever our post 2010 EPA buses would roll by.
