The Aisin, (AS69RC) is a medium duty tranny and cost $2995, 68RFE cost $600.. (these prices showing on the window sticker....comes like this from the factory, so I'd have no clue what it would cost to put the Aisin in a truck when purchased with the 68RFE...the Aisin also weighs approx. 160# more than the 68RFE.
No, 2500 badges. Get a 3500 with the Aisin, slap a couple of 2500 badges on it and presto-chango, you have a 2500 with an Aisin!
