Finally got back to do a few wiring things before I start on the insulation. I found an ANL fuse block in my car audio stuff and installed that so the battery is now fused with a 60 amp fuse. I used some 4 ga. welding cable to connect the battery and the fuse block.
I also installed a piece of 4 ga. to ground the load center to the frame. This completes the load center wiring but I may have to pull the 8 ga. line leads when I install the new power entry.
You can see that I have a couple of extra wires from the battery to a connector. These will be used to install a DC meter to keep an eye on the DC side of things. I also have an AC meter, both of these will be mounted on a small door, enclosing the batteries and converter.
Since the weather was real nice today, I installed new amber and red marker lights on the front and back. I tested all of the lights with a battery and all is now well lit. I buttoned up the DC distro box in the ceiling and left some color code reminders on the cover plate.
Insulation is next on the list now that the wiring is done. Hope to get started on that tomorrow.
